Lisa Ann Jarrett was born on October 4th, 1982 on the southwest side of Chicago. Her dad's family are from West Virginia while her mom's family hail from the Eastern European ghettos that existed on the south side of Chicago. Lisa has accomplished many a great feat. She was one of the main individuals responsible for the 2005 release by Fiona Apple titled "Extraordinary Machine". In addition, she previously did some PR for Paddy Rock Radio, a celtic punk/rock/folk/etc station online. Not only was she able to increase their number of listeners from 5,000/month to 10,000/day, but yet she played a vital part in the compilation CD titled "Paddy Rock Radio Volume 2". Lisa also has 3 and a half years of television production experience behind her belt. She has done everything from editing to producing and whatnot, and she was even rewarded by the Chicagoland Television Educators Council (CTEC), winning "Gold" in 2000 with the show "Third Eye Vision" which she co-produced with Jeremy Bowman. Lisa has helped various local bands, not just in Seattle, but in Chicago and DC alike. These bands include Chicago's Polkaholics as well as Seattle's Meisce and Whiskey Galore. Lisa has had the opportunity to meet some really cool people including everyone in Flogging Molly (Denis Casey has even remembered her name at one point in time!!!), Jim Peterik from the Ides of March ("Vehicle") and Survivor (think Rocky... "Eye of the Tiger" and "Burning Heart"), JY from STYX, and Steve Dahl who is a legend not only in Chicago, but all around the world because of his "Disco Sucks" campaign that started at Comisky Park in Chicago. Lisa currently resides in Seattle, Washington with her partner, Shawn, who is working towards his PhD in American history at the University of Washington in Seattle. She is a student at South Puget Sound Community College where she has a 3.8GPA and is about to transfer to Bellevue Community College. She is planning to go to the University of Washington after buying her AAS (shhh! don't tell anyone! lol) and have a double major in history and English.
